Eudev is a fork of the systemd-udev with goal of obtaining compatibility with existing software such as Canonical's Upstart, OpenRC, kernels, various toolchains and other things required by users and Linux distributions.

For Debian-based distros

Inspire is working to provide eudev for Devuan, Debian users and users of Debian-based distributions such as Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Deepin, gNewSense etc.

USE Flags

Add a support for the GObject-based introspection the udev database.
